Capstar is an oral tablet for the control of adult fleas in cats and dogs.

Capstars active ingredient is Nitenpyram, which interferes with normal nerve transmission and leads to death of the insect. Capstar is given orally, with or without food, on any day when fleas are seen on the animal. No more than one treatment should be given per day.
