Description
The Finnish Lapphund has a muscular body, high-set fluffy tail, a long straight harsh outer coat and soft dense undercoat, and a friendly expression. They were traditionally helped herd reindeer with the Lapp people in Finland.
Characteristics
Smart, responsive and loyal, the Finnish Lapphund likes family life and makes a good watchdog. It likes to bark which could cause issues unless trained thoroughly.

Brush the thick coat at least twice weekly, more when it's shedding. This breed is a seasonal heavy shedder.
