Characteristics
Intelligent and easy to train for hunting, the Brittany is loving, gentle, obedient, jolly, eager to please, alert and enthusiastic. If a Brittany doesn't get enough mental and physical stimulation, it will become hyperactive and hard to manage.
Health problems
The Brittany can be prone to hip dysplasia, seizures and breast cancer.
Exercise
Due to great stamina and enthusiasm, a Brittany should have an active owner who will give it regular exercise.
Grooming
A Brittany doesn't need much to maintain its coat: just regular brushing. This breed is a light shedder.
Living Environment
The Brittany is very active so it needs a lot of room to run around. It does not like cold and damp conditions.
